Ready to bake up a storm

I might be taking this whole becoming-a-wife thing too literally, but I came across this apron on, where else?, Etsy, and kinda fell in love:

[find it at The Way We Wear on Etsy]

I think it's part of my dream of becoming a super crafty girl who makes my own stationary and goes antiquing and sews curtains and is capable of making food that my husband's children actually like.

Maybe if I have a cute apron, all of those things will be possible? I don't know, but if anyone wants to buy it for me as a wedding gift, please feel free!

How about these?

If I could, I would just decorate my venue with giant, flower-covered rebar. You know, like the Getty Center. Cause this is how they roll:

Now those are some flower arrangements!

Happy Friday: another Etsy find...

I just bought a pair of earrings for FH's daughter's birthday (technically she is almost my step-daughter, but I hate the term "step") from a fabulous store, Chrys Designs Jewelry on Etsy.

Along with the earrings I'd purchased, Chrys threw in a complimentary pair for me:

Aren't they amazing? Run over and check out her stuff for yourself - she has a big selection of beautiful, gorgeous jewelry. Perfect timing, too - I'm thinking my problem of where to find gifts for my bridesmaids (and other special wedding helpers) has been solved!

Happy Friday

Happy weekend...

I'm a little bitter because I have to work an event on Sunday. But enjoy your weekend, people...all two days of it.

Happy Friday (on a Thursday)

From our flight out to Arizona a few weekends ago ... this is looking south from Santa Monica down to the South Bay. Even though flying through clouds is a tad scary, they make for amazing pictures.

Today is technically my Friday and I'm planning on fully enjoying the long weekend ahead. Enjoy your Cesar Chavez Day!
